HMC volunteers work across all areas of the festival & conference. We’re seeking enthusiastic, hardworking team members to help make this year’s event bigger, better, and more unforgettable than ever.
Volunteer Positions
Stage Managers
Stage Managers work directly with HMC venues to ensure live shows and events run seamlessly. You’ll:

Communicate set times, set lengths, and interview schedules to artists

Coordinate with curators, venues, and production staff to maintain schedules
-
Be the go-to for resolving on-site questions or challenges
On-Site Coordinators
On-Site Coordinators support HMC staff across panels, shows, and events. Your responsibilities include:

Ensuring each event starts and ends on time
-
Keeping communication lines open between artists, staff, and venues
-
Problem-solving in real time to keep everything running smoothly
Production Assistants
Production Assistants help bring the conference to life behind the scenes. You’ll:

Assist with set-up and strike for events
-
Support all aspects of event production
-
Use tools like the HMC mobile app and FAQ sheets to answer attendee questions
